Hello! There should be an April Fools joke here, but it doesn't work on mobile devices or small resolution screens. Our social media person just didn't find the time to get it to work.
Instead, please enjoy this rat:

Comics has a problem...
One of the benefits of prose books is that much of what is happening on the page is up to interpretation, embellished by the imaginations of readers. This is an experience comics have struggled with. But we aim to fix that problem with our new project...
Smut Peddler Presents: PITCH BLACKWe're presenting a collection of erotic comics, with no visuals, nothing to lead the audience or hold their hand. How raunchy and explicit any given page is is completely up to you. Heck, who says they aren't just doing taxes or playing football - Grandpa doesn't have to know!
Where are the funds going?
Below is a handy little pie chart breaking down our planned expenses. This time, we want to not only invest in our creators with bonuses, but in new emerging technologies (more info soon).
The Art
Featured below is a sample of finished pages from just a selection of our creators.
First up is this excerpt from Lin Visel, an established erotica creator known for their Slipshine comics and two-person studio, Owlin Comics. Lin is known for their expressive inks and fun characters. As you can surely imagine.
Or imagine your favorite anime girls! I'm not here to tell you what to do.
I mean... I dunno, now that I'm thinking about it. The energy is kinda. Weird. It's all kinda weird. Maybe I don't know what sexy is anymore.
Like, I know I saw a face on one of the other pages. I can't tell if it was just my imagination doing its job, or my face reflected on the screen.
I been seeing faces everywhere, though.
I'm so fuckin tired. Here are the stretch goals and rewards and stuff
PITCH BLACK has only one stretch goal: a vantablack cover treatment at $25,000!
This pre-order event will determine the bonuses of our authors. That bonus is a $5.00 page rate increase every $5,000 the Kickstarter makes over goal. That means the more work an artist has put in, the more they stand to make. This is on top of the page rates they've already earned, and there's no cap on potential pay.
Let the fear find you.
Sometimes it's nice to have an excuse to do something silly.
All the best from:
